General Hospital (GH) spoilers hint that Willow Cain (Katelyn MacMullen) may have to think fast after her latest Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) secret is discovered. Could Kai Taylor (Jens Austin Astrup) land in some danger after he goes digging and finds out the truth behind Drew’s fake stroke?
Willow recently asked Kai to stay on staff, so he accepted the offer and will now work for Congresswoman Cain.
Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali) isn’t happy about that decision or the risks of Kai’s continued involvement.
Both Kai and Trina know Willow is an extremely dangerous woman, so Trina would much rather see him walk away.
However, Kai feels obligated to watch out for Drew and keep an eye on Willow, especially since they didn’t come forward with what they knew before Willow’s verdict.
In other words, Willow got away with shooting Drew, but Kai remains concerned for her husband and doesn’t want to see her get away with anything else!
Of course, that’s exactly what’s happening since Willow is drugging Drew with an undetectable paralytic.
This drug is designed to mimic the effects of a stroke and is the real reason Drew’s stuck in that bed.
Jenz Sidwell (Carlo Rota) is supplying this paralytic and doubts that any visitors would want to help Drew, but he’s not counting on Kai’s good heart or his knowledge of Willow’s previous crimes.
There’s a reason why GH writers are having Kai stay close to this situation.
We have to believe Kai is the one person who’ll prove Sidwell wrong and be the visitor who truly wants to rescue Drew.
Kai obviously has to figure out what’s going on first, but he’s a smart guy and can put the clues together – especially if he asks the right questions and gets Drew’s blinked answers.
Sidwell warned Drew to knock off the SOS messages, but he may give one to Kai anyway and alert him to the fact that he’s in trouble.
Kai may realize Willow’s doing something to Drew, so he could search and find the medication stash.
It’s easy to imagine Kai holding it up and asking if this is what Willow’s using to keep Drew in his current state.
Drew may blink yes and get the promise of help, but that’s not going to work for Willow if she pops up at that very moment.
Willow just might sneak up behind Kai and inject him with a drug dose next.
Kai might find himself temporarily paralyzed while Willow calls Sidwell to come clean up her mess!
General Hospital spoilers suggest Trina might have to shift into hero mode eventually, so stay tuned for any shocking news to come.
