Janelle Brown Finally Moves Into Her Dream Home!

After years of documenting the construction process, Janelle Brown, star of Sister Wives, has officially moved into her stunning, newly constructed home in North Carolina! The reality star shared her excitement with fans, describing her move-in week as “one for the books” in a recent Instagram Reel.

In her Instagram caption, Janelle revealed the hectic nature of her week: “Ok so last week ended up being one for the books. I didn’t plan to travel to Mexico the same week I closed on, and moved into my house, but it ended up that way.” Talk about a whirlwind!

Adding to the adventure, Janelle spent four days in Cancun with her former sister wife Christine Brown, Christine’s husband David Woolley, and a friend. Despite concerns about recent unrest in the area, Janelle explained, “We almost didn’t go because of the concerns in the news, but after checking the state department website and watching flights from the Cancun airport we went.” The video included snapshots of Janelle enjoying the sights and soaking up the sun with her friends.

But the highlight of the week was undoubtedly getting the keys to her new home. Janelle shared a photo of the special moment, expressing her happiness and excitement despite feeling tired from the move. “I am tired today and there is so much still left to do. But I am so happy and so excited,” she wrote.

A Glimpse Inside Janelle’s Dream Abode

In an earlier post, Janelle finally gave her followers a long-awaited look inside the completed house. “Today is the day! My house is finished. Here is what it looks like walking in,” she captioned the video.

As the door opens, viewers are greeted by a spacious living area complete with a cozy fireplace. The camera then pans to the kitchen, showcasing a center island and elegant stone countertops. The high ceilings throughout the property add to the sense of grandeur.

The home features a connected dining area with doors that open onto a lovely deck. The primary bedroom, overlooking the front porch, offers a serene retreat. The attached bathroom is equally impressive, boasting dual sinks, a luxurious soaking tub, and a separate shower.

A Family Affair on Taeda Farms

Janelle’s new North Carolina haven sits on a sprawling 156-acre plot of land, co-owned with her daughter Madison Brush and son-in-law Caleb Brush. The trio purchased the land in December 2024 and have been diligently working on its development ever since.

Janelle revealed that Madison’s house is located just a short distance away, “maybe 100” yards door to door, creating a close-knit family compound. Together, Janelle, Madison, and Caleb founded Taeda Farms, embodying their vision of “building beauty from the ground up.”
