General Hospital Monday, February 9 Update: Gio Gets a Shock – Dante’s Unexpected Offer – Brennan Has Doubts

General Hospital (GH) update for Monday, February 9, reveals that Giovanni “Gio” Palmieri (Giovanni Mazza) will get a shock while Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) receives an unexpected offer. Jack Brennan (Chris McKenna) will also have some doubts, so there’ll be a lot happening in Port Charles.

After Emma Scorpio-Drake (Braedyn Bruner) comes home from the airport, she’ll thank Gio for watching the place while she was gone.

Emma didn’t want to share difficult news over the phone, so she’ll just now be ready to tell Gio what happened with Anna Devane (Finola Hughes).

As Emma gets emotional, she’ll confess they had to leave Anna in France.

Emma will talk about how awful it was and admit she’s lost the grandmother she knew, so Gio will be stunned by all the mental break details.

Felicia Scorpio (Kristina Wagner) will also give Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) updates since Anna wanted him to know Cesar Faison (Anders Hove) is alive.

Jason doesn’t believe that’s true, so Felicia may admit she doesn’t either – especially after seeing how far Anna has spiraled.

Meanwhile, Laura Collins (Genie Francis) will talk to Dante and Mac Scorpio (John J. York) about the future of the police commissioner role.

Since Anna is in no shape to return to it, Dante will get an unexpected offer to take over her spot permanently.

At Carly Spencer’s (Laura Wright) house, she’ll continue bonding with Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart).

Valentin and Carly will get under each other’s skin in a good way, so their connection will remain intriguing.

Ava Jerome (Maura West) and Jenz Sidwell’s (Carlo Rota) growing bond, on the other hand, won’t go over well with Lucy Coe (Lynn Herring).

Lucy will basically accuse Ava of selling herself instead of the art as jealousy erupts.

Over with Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy), her investigation will lead to another shocker.

Will Josslyn bring Brennan in the loop on what she’s learned or wait since she’s supposed to be on sleeper status?

Regardless, Brennan will have some doubts on Monday’s GH episode.

We’ll see a good dose of skepticism from Brennan, but will that involve one of Josslyn’s theories or something else?

Carly will have to be careful as all her lies and excuses start to pile up.

Brennan has been buying them up to now, but he might get suspicious if Carly gets too sloppy!
