Journalist’s Pregnant Wife Killed In Tragic Accident
Sometimes all the tragic things going on in the world can be too much. A beautiful family was ripped apart forever after a tragic accident claimed a young wife and mother.
Google executive Regan Cole-Graham was just 36 when she passed away while 7 months pregnant. Her husband is veteran Sports Illustrated writer Matthew Graham. The couple married in 2021 and have sons Dale, 3, and Theo, 19 months. Regan Cole-Graham was pregnant with their third child, a girl.

The family was riding electric bikes in Los Angeles, California, over the weekend when tragedy struck. Regan Cole-Graham was hit by a car. Her husband and two young kids witnessed the accident.
She was immediately taken to the hospital but was reported dead upon arrival. While many drivers would flee the scene, the driver stayed. According to a local ABC affiliate, the driver wasn’t charged. The police described it as a “tragic accident.”

Baby Rushed To NICU
The baby Regan Cole-Graham was carrying was rushed to the NICU after her mother was pronounced dead. The baby fought for two days before passing away. Journalist Chris Cillizza posted about the tragic accident on social media.
“I wanted to share a tragedy with you all. And ask you for help. On Saturday night, my college friend Matt Graham, his wife Regan Cole-Graham and their two young boys were riding bikes in Los Angeles. She was hit by a car while riding an electric bike. She was also 7 months pregnant with their third child — a little girl,” the journalist shared.

Regan Cole-Graham Described As ‘Devoted Wife’
Chris Cillizza shared a GoFundMe that the victim’s family created to raise money after her heartbreaking loss. “Regan was a loving & devoted wife, a fierce & joyful mother, a hilarious & loyal sister, and a beautiful, fiery daughter,” the fundraiser described Regan Cole-Graham.
We are raising money to help pay for funeral expenses and help Matt with the kids’ future,” it said. The GoFundMe has raised over $245,000 so far, nearing its $250k goal. Of course, no amount of money will bring back the beloved wife and mother. However, it takes some burden off her loved ones as they start to mourn life without her.
