General Hospital spoilers for the week of January 5-9, 2026 tease a major revelation in Drew’s whodunnit that shakes up Port Charles.
Who Really Shot Drew?
Now that we’re in the new year, Willow’s (Katelyn MacMullen) trial will continue with more people brought to the stand, starting with Dante (Dominic Zamprogna). His end-of-the-week admission will follow Michael (Rory Gibson) taking the stand, who winds up taken aback.
But the real drama arrives when Trina (Tabyana Ali) and Kai (Jens Austin Astrup) make a revelation about who shot Drew (Cameron Mathison) on Thursday. These two have been secretly on the case for months, unbeknownst to everyone that they got a firsthand look at the aftermath of Drew’s shooting. While they’re left weighing their options at the end of the week, Drew winds up losing it.
Whatever Trina and Kai realize, they may get Jason (Steve Burton) and Carly (Laura Wright) involved, who encounter the lousy congressmen on Friday.
Laura’s Battle
It’s a new year, but Laura (Genie Francis) still finds herself under Sidwell’s (Carlo Rota) thumb. While she starts the week standing her ground, relief will find her mid-week before she’s left conferring with her partner in crime, Sonny (Maurice Benard), on Friday. And with Kevin (Jon Lindstrom) considering taking his job offer in Ireland, only time will tell who Laura can lean on most.
Odds and Ends
Just before Elizabeth (Rebecca Herbst) testifies on Tuesday, Portia (Brook Kerr) will confide in her friend on Monday. Could whatever Portia shares backfire once Liz hits the stand?
As for Tracy (Jane Elliot, who was named Soap Hub’s Performer of the Year on GH), she’s been determined to cover for what she believes Michael did to Drew. But after she makes a vow on Tuesday, shock will hit her on Wednesday, forcing her to end the week by confronting Alexis (Nancy Lee Grahn), who will be fresh off of making a risky legal move.
