Seeking Sister Wife star Garrick Merrifield has allegedly creeped back onto dating apps amid his recent arrest. He was supposedly taken into custody after a domestic violence incident, but that has not stopped him from moving on with his life. Garrick Merrifield Back On Dating Apps
It has been a short time since Seeking Sister Wife star Garrick Merrifield was arrested and released from jail. He had been taken in on allegations of domestic violence against his second wife, Lorrana.
Garrick and his first wife, Dannielle, met Lorrana in Brazil as they had long been looking for another woman to add to their family.
TLC viewers saw the couple divorce in Season 3, allowing Garrick to marry Roberta from Brazil. This would safely bring her to America. Yet, that relationship ended after two seasons, moving on with Nathalia Lima, but that also came to a close.
Lorrana was the only successful engagement, resulting in a legal marriage, that played out at the beginning of Season 6. She moved to Buena Vista, Colorado, shared a room with Dannielle, and welcomed a baby with Garrick.
However, Garrick was soon arrested for alleged domestic violence against Lorrana, and it appears he is not allowed back in the familial home. Regardless, the father of four is not wasting any time feeling bad for himself as he has been spotted scouring the dating apps.
Garrick has turned to them in the past, so this is not unexpected. Yet, the timing is a tad off, given the circumstances. On both apps, he used a shortened version of his name and bragged about his compassion and love of God.
He also added that he was into polygamy, and the candidate must be okay with the public eye. The second app showed that he paid roughly $1K to get a higher tier when it came to dating. This could be his attempt to stay on Seeking Sister Wife despite viewers demanding his firing.
A Horrible Human Being
Despite what Garrick Merrifield may or may not have done to Lorrana, Seeking Sister Wife fans are torn on him. Some think that he needs to be removed from the series immediately. However, others are so invested in seeing this play out that they would rather have him stay until the end. TLC is a mixed bag as they will keep some toxic cast members for ratings while firing the others. After followers saw that he was back at it, given what is going on in his life, they had mixed emotions:
- He just wants to have s*x. This relationship is new and needs to be cultivated. How many wives does he actually want? He makes polygamy look bad.
- One thing about this dude, he’s relentless in his bullsh*t.
