Details on Days & GH Alum Greg Vaughan’s Beyond the Gates Character – First Airdate, Contract, and More
Beyond the Gates spoilers hint that more information has been released about the new character Days of Our Lives (DOOL) and General Hospital (GH) alum, Greg Vaughan will be playing on the CBS soap – so let’s talk about it!
Vaughan recently had an interview with TV Insider, where he talked about his new role on BTG.
The soap veteran will be playing Dr. Kial Rollins, a new love interest for Nicole Dupree (Daphnee Duplaix).
In fact, his first official air date is this Monday, December 8, and the two will be heading out on a date. Will they feel sparks?
Will the BTG viewers see chemistry between the new pair? Only time will tell!
Some details regarding Kial are that he’s an orthopedic surgeon, with a ton of baggage that Nicole may have to sift through!
Vaughan implied that Kial is a bit of a wanderer, and not ‘rooted’ anywhere.
In addition, Kial is linked to some other hospital staff in Fairmont Crest, so will Ted Richardson (Keith D. Robinson) know him?
Shanice Johnson (Ernestine Johnson) knows him, for sure, as she’s the one who has set him and Nicole up during the Thursday, December 4 episode!
In addition, Kial’s a widower with two adult kids. Vaughan also talked about the idea of reappearing on Days again, considering this new gig at BTG.
The actor played Eric Brady in the Peacock soap from 2012 to 2024 and returns to Salem now and again in a recurring fashion.
In fact, Days fans just saw Eric some weeks ago in November when he celebrated the show’s 60th anniversary.
In the TV Insider interview, Vaughan pointed out that he is not under contract with BTG and that he’s open to still appearing on Days if the opportunity arises.
Having said that, he was also clear that, “… after day two here (BTG), it already felt like a new home, a place of being embraced.”
Vaughan also played the Lucky Spencer recast on GH from 2003 to 2009.
Beyond the Gates spoilers tease that Dr. Kial Rollins is sure to cause a stir in Fairmont Crest, and he may even win Nicole’s heart in the process, so fans need to tune into Monday’s show to see the character’s debut!
