General Hospital (GH) spoilers for the week of October 13-17 suggest that Ric Lansing (Rick Hearst) may finally escape his nightmare hostage situation, and it could be all thanks to Cody Bell (Josh Kelly).
During the GH weekly promo, a clip is shown of Molly Lansing-Davis (Kristen Vaganos) talking to someone unknown at Bobbie’s as she declares she’s going to find her dad.
While fans know that Ric is in Alexis Davis’s (Nancy Lee Grahn) basement, drugged and gagged on a bed, Molly and the rest of the world think he’s “logged” out on a device break, enjoying some downtime.
Molly has no clue what Ric is going through, so when she says she’s going to find him, she’ll likely start by calling around to some of her father’s favorite resorts or spas that she may believe he’s at.
She might also reach out to some friends or colleagues for information. Still, that doesn’t mean that no one will find Ric this week.
As the preview progresses (and right after Molly’s scene), Ric is shown calling out to Molly, but as General Hospital spoilers for Tuesday, October 15 show note, he’ll have a dream where he sees Elizabeth “Liz” Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst), perhaps his daughter appears in it at some point, too?
Regardless, Cody Bell (Josh Kelly) is then shown in the GH preview, walking Outback (the dog) somewhere outside.
He comes across an outdoor basement walkout, and Cody states, “What the hell?”
There’s a good chance that Cody hears someone screaming for help and investigates.
Could Molly and Cody drop by Alexis’s home for a visit, with Outback?
It wouldn’t be hard to deduce that Outback may need to go to the bathroom, which is why Cody has the dog leashed and he’s outside Molly’s mom’s house.
In addition, maybe Ric isn’t calling out Molly’s name because of a dream; rather, he’s awake and can hear his daughter’s voice, so Ric may decide to take action.
Although, as Ric is gagged, Molly won’t hear him, but Cody, being outside and near the basement walkout, may.
If Cody can rescue Ric, he’d quickly become Molly’s dad’s favorite person, but then again, he’d also become her mom’s newest enemy!
Not to mention Ava Jerome (Maura West) and Kristina Corinthos-Davis’s (Kate Mansi), too.
General Hospital spoilers remind fans that the three ladies can’t, and never intended to, keep Ric in the basement forever, but everything will blow up if Cody discovers him before that money clears.
