General Hospital (GH) spoilers hint that Willow Tait’s (Katelyn MacMullen) mental health has been off since Michael Corinthos (Rory Gibson) won full custody of their kids in the summer, so if she’s arrested for Drew Cain’s (Cameron Mathison) shooting, will she have a meltdown that sends her to Ferncliff?
Willow’s behavior in the courtroom after Michael was awarded sole custody of Wiley Corinthos (Viron Weaver), and Amelia Corinthos (Sequoia and Serenity Mork Macko) was heartbreaking, but also very disturbing.
In fact, everything the nurse has done since she lost her kids has been out of her behavior, and scary.
The very fact that she stalked Daisy Gilmore (Brenden and Evelyn Beimford) and ran Sasha Gilmore (Sofia Mattsson) out of town was horrific.
Willow is hanging by a thread, and a major event could send her completely over the edge.
So, let’s rewind a bit, though. There’s a good chance Willow will soon be arrested for the shooting of her former fiancé, Drew.
She has the motive, her alibi has vanished, and with Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) set to search Elizabeth “Liz” Webber’s (Rebecca Herbst) home, Willow’s current residence, to find the weapon used in Drew’s shooting, things don’t look good for the nurse.
Edward Quartermaine’s (John Igle) gun was used to shoot Drew twice in the back, and when it’s located at Liz’s home, Willow will look guilty as sin.
As Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) recently pointed out to Anna, the Qs’ security system is weak, and as Willow was able to sneak into the home to stalk Daisy, she had access to snag the gun.
Willow may have shot Drew, she may not have, but the evidence mounting against her will be overwhelming.
Even if Anna simply questions Willow on things, the young woman may panic.
With that said, if she’s arrested, she’ll have a full-on meltdown.
Willow’s mental state is not the best, plus she may very well say some deranged things during her arrest.
While most people know to remain quiet as a cop is reading their rights, Willow will be thrown for such a loop that she could blurt out some incriminating remarks.
Regardless, Willow could throw herself in such a tizzy that she needs to be sedated.
This is what happened after the custody blow, and Willow spent time at the hospital, after the fact.
But the police can’t just send a shooting suspect to the hospital, so will they decide the best place for Willow, for the time being, is Ferncliff?
The woman may need to be evaluated, depending on how hard Willow crashes during her arrest.
