One of them was due to her continuous vaping and her lack of protein intake. But Tammy worked hard to get qualified and impressed Dr. Smith with her commitment.

According to the surgeon, they were looking for old photos of Tammy to find a jawline to use as a reference for her surgery, but they couldn’t find any. Tammy ballooned significantly in her teenage days. But many fans were left in awe by some of her high school photos, saying that she looked cute back then despite her early obesity. Others also couldn’t help but mention how Dr. Rubin professionally roasted Tammy with his statement.

She captioned, “Shout to Tammy L Slaton you did the dam thing today.” Many fans also commended Tammy for achieving one of the final stages of her weight loss journey.

TLC has also released a sneak peek from the upcoming episode of 1000-Lb Sisters Season 7. It features Tammy Slaton getting back to her home fully transformed. She was pointing out some of the scars from the surgery. But it’s noticeable how slim she has become. She was able to achieve her desired chin, finally getting rid of her sagging jowl. TLC also released a preview clip showing Chris feeling relieved after seeing Tammy being conscious again.
Many fans couldn’t help but laugh at how Chirs continued calling his sister a “b*tch,” saying that seeing her alive is all that matters. According to some, it just shows how much Chris loves his sister and all of his siblings, even with all the chaos constantly happening between them.
The eighth episode of Season 7 will air on June 10, 2025, on TLC. Aside from Tammy’s recovery, the upcoming episode will also feature her huge fallout with her sister, Amy, which could cause irrevocable changes in their relationship.
